My Journey

The presented set of ten images, also known by the name ‘Odyssey’, is a visual representation of my personal experience, a year of my life abroad, along the coast of picturesque Cornwall. I embraced a big change, started studying and living three thousand kilometers away from my motherland and everything familiar. Imagination drew me as a character in two different performances, shifting in-between two beautiful and completely unrelated worlds, with only one swinging door, the possessor of which is entirely myself.

Take a peak through the prism of nature and the hidden meaning behind several concepts such as object-habitat contentedness and preview of the broader picture within a single element.

Partnership

A sculpture, symbolising the partnership between Iceland and the US, and the coastal road it is built on.

Natural Synergy

A hazel tree and a herring gull. Visual combination of two commonly spotted features in Penryn, Cornwall, UK.

Oceanic Home

Depicting the vibe of Cornwall region. A house in Falmouth Town and South England’s main bird inhabitants – seagulls.

Stamina

An eagle-owl’s magnificence in landing.

Defensive Weapon

A crab’s claw – the strongest defence against its hunters /found on Black sea’s coastline in Bulgaria/.

Speed of Wisdom

A garden snail and an interpretation of its speed: snails move slowly, yet, because of this, they can go ”further”. The mucus they leave allows them to go against the laws of gravity, teaching us that steadiness and own pace do matter.

Habitat

Home in the eye of an Eurasian eagle-owl.
Another assimilation could be viewing several layers of a core or a slice of a tropical fruit.

Phenomenal Seconds of Being

The most unbelievable experiences, perceptions and exceptional moments within a precise mechanism.

”The clock of life is wound but once…” Robert H. Smith

Lifetime

Hallgrímskirkja or ”Church of Iceland” in the center of Reykjavík. Interpretation of life’s most intoxicant currents – routines, in the heart of urbanisation.

Passion Patterns

A lot can happen within a single person, especially when his soul pulls the right strings, playing the song of his greatest passions.
